    Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine

    I offer gentle, effective women’s health acupuncture and personalized herbal medicine prescriptions. Herbal medicine is not required, but can often help you reach your goals more quickly. Sessions take place in a private, comfortable room and include quiet resting time.

    Non-Needle Therapies

    When bodywork is appropriate or for needle-sensitive people or children, I offer cupping, guasha, acupressure, and Aroma Acupoint Therapy.

    All sessions include lifestyle and nutritional counseling as needed.

    In 2025 I will be launching Hot Flash Social Club - small group support for women in perimenopause and menopause in the Shelburne and greater Burlington, VT area. Other group offerings may be added based on interest and availability. We heal in community: let me know what you need!

Fees and Insurance

Initial intake and treatment (90 minutes): $160
Return treatment (60 minutes): $100
Pediatric treatment (30-60 minutes): $80-120
Herbal medicine: Varies, but generally about $80-90/month for one prescription

Many FSA or HSA plans will cover acupuncture services (though typically they won’t cover herbal prescriptions). I accept all FSA/HSA cards, as well as all major credit cards.

I am an in-network provider with Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Not all plans cover acupuncture: please call the number on your insurance card to verify whether you have acupuncture benefits and what restrictions apply. Deductibles and co-pays or co-insurance may apply.

If you have acupuncture benefits through any insurer other than BCBS, I am happy to offer you a superbill to submit for possible out of network reimbursement of the treatment fee.

At this time, unfortunately acupuncture is not a covered service for Medicaid (Green Mountain Care) or Medicare.
